Starting his career at Merrill Lynch in the Investment Banking division, he developed deep expertise in financial analysis, modelling, and structuring. After further honing his skills in Venture Capital and Private Equity, Nithan founded The Eights to leverage his extensive industry knowledge, broad networks, and strategic vision. He actively drives deal origination and execution across sectors such as resources, technology, property, and retail.

Tom offers meticulous analytical capabilities and strategic insight, backed by over 5 years in investment banking and private equity. His experience encompasses advising and investing across infrastructure, industrials, professional services, technology, tourism, and healthcare sectors. Tom is adept at managing complex financial engagements, consistently delivering precise and impactful outcomes. His detail-oriented mindset and structured analysis ensure The Eights remains focused on clear, strategic execution and achieving meaningful results.
Parin's analytical strength and structured thinking underpin her role as an Analyst. Beginning her career at Macquarie Bank's Investment Banking team, she refined her financial modelling, analysis, and strategic structuring skills through roles at a specialist M&A investment bank and FTI Consulting. Parin has worked extensively in natural resources, property, defence, and financial sectors, bringing a rigorous approach and clear strategic insight to complex transactions across Australia and New Zealand. She also actively contributes to initiatives like the Women’s Initiative Network (WIN) and conservation efforts in Costa Rica.
Zina is a seasoned legal advisor specialising in complex finance and restructuring transactions, particularly within the non-bank lending space. As a partner at Hamilton Locke, Zina advises funds, asset managers, and non-bank lenders on structured finance, hybrid transactions, secondary trades, and special situation investments. Her experience includes advising major banks, syndicates, and public companies in significant financial restructurings and turnarounds across Australia and Asia. Zina's comprehensive international experience includes senior roles at Herbert Smith Freehills and Allen & Overy. She holds qualifications in law, finance, and turnaround management from UNSW, the College of Law Sydney, and BPP London.

As a co-founder of Inteq Limited and a partner at Perpetuity Capital Pty Ltd, he provides strategic direction and oversight to diverse enterprises, including serving as a non-executive director of The Wolper Jewish Hospital.
